Sadly, crawfish eating is not one of them.

Of the 500 athletes competing in Rio, a good portion of them are from Texas.  They're from Houston, Dallas, Texarkana, and College Station, and they're spread out across many of the most popular events.

Some of the most famous moments in sports have come to us through Olympic competition.  Michael Phelps winning gold after gold after gold, Kerri Strug's one-legged vault,and the Miracle on Ice by the US Hockey Team are just a few that come to mind.

The Winter Olympics are just about a month away and Proctor & Gamble has come out with one of their signature commercials saluting moms.  Watch this beautifully produced ad, but be warned, tissues should be close by.

What do you remember most about the track and field events at the London Olympics? Usain Bolt was a huge story as the fastest man in history won the 100 and 200 meter runs again.  And, certainly the U.S. domination in many other track and field events grabbed headlines, too.  But, one of the most meaningful medals, in my opinion, was presented to Canada...by a 10 year old boy.
