TBT: Summer Relief with a Look Back to our December Snowfall
Even though Summer 2018 officially arrived about a week ago, the extreme Summer heat has been with us since early May. We've experienced quite a few days of heat indices over 100 degrees, and it doesn't make you feel any better when you consider our first real cool front is probably still about 3 months away.
How about a Throw Back Thursday (TBT) to bring some mental relief from the heat?
Remember, back in December, when parts of the Pineywoods had snowfall prior to Christmas? Looking at this video won't lower the temperature any, but maybe it'll make you feel a little better when you remember back to when you were layered up because it was so chilly.
This video shows the snow as if falls on the south loop in Lufkin, on Penn Bonner Road in Hudson, and then the picturesque landscape from Huntington and near Colmesneil following the overnight snowfall.
