Town Opens Free Wine Fountain to Become Best Place on Earth
Water fountain, soda fountain -- they take a back seat to this fountain.
The Dora Sarchese winery in the Abruzzo region of Italy has opened a wine fountain. Cool, right? Well, hold on to your merlot because it's free.
The fountain, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, can be found along the route that travels from Rome to it. At more than 190 miles, you're gonna need a drink when you get to the end of it, even if it's not clear what kind of wine is being served.
As you may have imagined, thousands of people have flocked to the fountain to get a taste. And they'd better enjoy it while they're there because, unlike that 20-ounce cup you fill up before heading out of Five Guys, you're not allowed to take any on your way out.
