Forecasters are monitoring a cool front making its way to our area.  It will kick off some storms later in the day on Friday, and those storms will likely continue through the evening before moving eastward into Arkansas and Louisiana.

First, the bad news -

Winds gusting to near 80 mph, up to tennis ball sized hail, and tornadoes are all possible in these storms.

The good news -

As of Friday morning, meteorologists are putting our rain chances at only 20-30%.  So, wherever you are in Deep East Texas, there is only a slight chance that you'll even get rain.  However, if one of those storms finds you, it could become severe.  So, stay alert and listen to KICKS 105 for updates and download our KICKS 105 App to have weather bulletins sent to your phone.

Oh...and more good news, the weekend is looking beautiful with plenty of sunshine and highs near 80.
