Garrison Lady Bulldogs Ready for State, Get Broadcast Information

One thing is for certain in Class 1A softball - this year's championship game will feature the Lady Bulldogs - we're just hoping it's our team from Garrison.

Wednesday at noon, the Garrison Lady Bulldogs will take on the Lady Bulldogs from Flatonia in the class 1A semifinal game at the state tourney at McCombs Field in Austin.  Garrison comes in with a record of 25-6-1 and in their last game defeated the number one team in the state (Beckville).

Meanwhile, Flatonia has a record of 28-5.

Garrison has lost only one game during it's playoff run, while Flatonia has dropped two games.  But both teams are loaded with talent, both pitching and hitting, and this should be an exciting one to watch.

The other Class 1A semifinal game will feature Rayburn taking on Petrolia, their game will start at 9am on Wednesday.  Should Garrison win on Wednesday, they would play for the state championship on Thursday at 3pm.
