I'm originally from Canada - and whenever I hear stereotypes about Canadians, I can't help but laugh because most of them are true.
For example, though the majority of the population DOESN'T live in igloos or have pet seals and polar bears, we DO use the expression 'eh?', drink 'pop' instead of 'soda' and put 'tuques' on before we go 'tobogganing.'
For a fun T.G.I.F. post, our office came up with 15 expressions about being from east Texas, more specifically from Lufkin and Nacogdoches.
