Movie Line Up At The Pines Theater In Lufkin Has Been Updated

Now they have upped that average with some great movies, one is coming up fast on March 8, 2024, at 7 pm. When I was a kid I loved watching the movie Mary Poppins.

I was too young in 1965 to see the film when it was in theaters so this will be a treat. The Disney film starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke was adapted from a book that was first released in 1938.

This movie is a love story for people who yearned for pre-war England. Just like America loves culture and movies set pre-911, it was a simpler time.

Jaws Coming To The Pines Theater This Summer In Lufkin

There is another recent substitution in the Pines Theater lineup that you can get excited about. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, the original Jaws returns to the big screen on Friday, June 14, 2024.

This movie has something in common with Mary Poppins, it was also adapted from a book. It just didn't take as long. The book was released in 1974 and the movie was out by 1975.
