We need your help. We received a birthday greeting for someone named Sonal in Mumbai.  The e-mail also came with a message,  however, it was not in English.

Over the past few months, I had seen some references to 'Google Glass' on various websites and social media pages.  The gist of the stories I heard was that this was going to be the next big thing in the world of technology.  Still, I had no idea what it looked like, nor its practical usage.

Just head on out to the George H Henderson Jr Expo Center in Lufkin and check out the 63rd annual Angelina County Youth Fair.   From baking cakes to showing goats, from arts and crafts to photography, and much more, kids from various 4-H, FFA, and FCCLA clubs are bringing their best to the Expo Center.

This morning, Glenn Beck was on the Merrell in the Morning show. Beck is promoting his new book, 'Being George Washington'.  In fact, he will be in Nacogdoches Saturday from 4:30-5:30 for a book signing at the Hastings on North Street.

I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Larry The Cable Guy. We talked about his concert April 1st at the Oil Palace, plus we had a chance to speak a bit about his TV show, 'Only In America', plus his upcoming two movies. Also congratulations to Dianne Morgan, we selected her question to ask Larry so she wins a pair of tickets to the show. Listen to the interview after the bump.

Today, I had the pleasure of interviewing more Angelina County students who are participating in the 62nd annual Youth Fair. And God bless these kids...they all brought samples of their award winning cookies, pies, fudge, and cakes.  For more details on the Youth Fair, click here. The Angelina County Youth Fair is getting into full swing at the George H Henderson Expo Center in Lufkin. Tuesday saw students competing in cakes, desserts, and cheesecakes, as well as market and breeding rabbits.  A few of yesterday's winners stopped by the KICKS 105 studios this morning for a Merrell in the Morning interview (some of the kids event brought samples of their award winning food!!)

This morning, Joanna Smith called into the Merrell In The Morning Show to promote her latest single 'Georgia Mud'.  She also talked about her upcoming album, touring, and what ladies really want for Valentines. Check out the interview after the bump.
