Work Crew Inmate Gets Roadside Drug Delivery

A Florida inmate working with a prison road crew tried to pull off a brazen drug delivery.  Well, maybe brazen is not the best word to use, perhaps idiotic or brain-challenged might be a better term. 

According to a report in the nbcdfw website, Parell Seay was working with fellow inmates when the driver of a passing car tossed a small packet containing marijuana to Seay.  According to authorities the inmate tried to pick up the bag without anyone noticing but deputies saw the entire event play out.  When law enforcement started to approached Seay he attempted to toss the packet out of sight. However, that didn't work well for him because the bag hit another deputy at the scene.

A few more charges have now been tacked on and I doubt Seay will have anymore off-site work privileges.
