The 48th Annual Pineywoods Fair is October 8-12 at the Nacogdoches County Exposition Center on Northwest Stallings Drive. The fair features the Evans United Carnival, numerous vendors, live entertainment, youth exhibits, food vendors, and much more.

Even though the fair doesn't officially start until Wednesday, October 8, numerous events will be happening on Tuesday, including the market rabbit show, youth baking contest, and the arrival of entries into ag mechanics, photography, arts, canning, and crafts.

Wednesday, October 8 Schedule

  • 9 am - Broiler Show and Judging
  • 1 pm - Education Exhibit awards posted
  • 4 pm until 11 pm - Midway open (entry is $5/person)
  • 7 pm - Live music with Bryan Harkness
  • 6 - 10 pm - Carnival open (armbands $30, or $25 with donation with 3 canned food items

Thursday, October 9 Schedule

  • 9 am - Ag Mechanics Judging
  • 10 am - Floral Show
  • 6 pm - Market Swine Judging
  • 4 - 11 pm - Midway open ($5 entry)
  • 6 - 10 pm - Carnival Buddy Night (1 person buys ride tickets, 1 person rides free)

Friday, October 10 Schedule

  • 9 am - Market Lamb Judging and Showmanship
  • 9 am - Market Goat Judging and Showmanship
  • 1 pm - 3 pm - Pilgrm's Early Bird Free Admission
  • 1 pm - 11 pm - Midway open ($5 entry after 3 pm)
  • 7 pm - Live Enterainmet with Glen Lenderman
  • Two Carnival Sessions (2-5 pm. $20 armbands, 6-11 pm, $30 armbands

Saturday, October 11 Schedule

  • 10 am - Beef Heifer Judging
  • 3 pm - Ag Mechanics Sale
  • 11 am - 11 pm - Midway Open (Free admission until 1 pm)
  • 12 pm - 3 pm - $20 carnival armband special
  • 1 pm - East Texas Reptile Club Presentation
  • 4 pm - Junior Tractor Pull
  • 7 pm - Live music with Stephan Pate Band

Sunday, October 12 Schedule

  • 1 pm - 11 pm - Midway open ($5 admission)
  • 1 pm - 5 pm - Carnival Session One ($30 armband)
  • 6 pm - 10 pm - Carnival Session Two ($30 armband)
