‘Blue Alert’ Issued for Man Wanted for Shooting East Texas Deputy

UPDATED:  According to a report on CLICK2HOUSTON.COM, the suspect took his own life as he was surrounded by law enforcement.

The Liberty County Sheriff's Department has issued a 'Blue Alert' for Pavol Vido in connection with an alleged series of shootings that took place Wednesday morning in and near Cleveland, Texas.  According to a report from Click2Houston.com, a Liberty County Deputy was seriously injured in one of the shooting incidents.

Vido is described as a white male, 65, with brown hair and blue eyes.  His is 5' 11" tall and weighs around 150 pounds.  Law enforcement believes Vido is a serious risk or threat to the public and other law enforcement personnel.
