Carrie Underwood Wins 2014 CMT Awards Video of the Year
Carrie Underwood walked away with the coveted CMT Video of the Year belt buckle for her 'See You Again' video at the 2014 CMT Awards.
"Oh I'm nervous! My heart's still beating really fast!" Underwood exclaimed, just moments after her phenomenal performance of 'Somethin' Bad' with Miranda Lambert. And while she still looked bad-to-the-bone from her set, Underwood was full of nothing but sweet words for all the people who have supported her. "God bless country music, God bless country fans!"
The blonde-haired beauty was properly surprised to be a winner in a category that featured a few other huge stars, including her friend Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift. But with a powerful ballad about remembering those who have been loved and lost, Underwood's win may have only been a surprise to her.
Along with the powerful partnership Underwood has recently created with Lambert for 'Somethin' Bad,' the stunning singer has a big summer planned. Not only is she hard at work on her next album (hopefully there's a Lambert-Underwood collab on that one too!), fans can look forward to checking her out at some of the summer's hottest music festivals.
