It's a lot of work putting up Christmas decorations and lights, and we've got the chance tonight to take a break from our own tangled cords and missing bulbs to appreciate the work of some other talented folks. The Lufkin Christmas Parade is happening tonight, and we've got all the info.

If you're planning a vacation to ski country, you might have to wait.  Thanksgiving weekend is usually a big one for ski resorts, but most of them had to delay openings this year because of a lack of snow. Some of the projected openings are in mid to late December now.

Halloween is not far off, and October will be a great time to discover some new "haunts." One haunted spot not far from Lufkin is in a section of a former nursing home. Another haunted space is on the SFA campus.  And apparently, a ghost named Chester hangs out at one building in Nacogdoches.

This week's Top 10 Video Countdown was a fight to the finish line! Home Free and Trent Harmon battled it out until the very last minute, but in the end, Home Fries sent Harmon falling to No. 2.

"Walkin' The Line," the Johnny Cash tribute performance is coming to the Pines Theater in Lufkin.
