Christmas spirit, fun, and shopping will be on display this weekend in Huntington.

It all kicks off Saturday morning at 10 with the annual Christmas Parade. The parade will follow the traditional route. Line-up will be on Mulberry St. behind Huntington Middle School. Then, the route goes down Main St. to Ash St., past the nursing home, down 6th St., ending back on Mulberry St.

1st - 3rd place trophies are being given for the best entries! There is still time to sign up your entry. Pick up your entry form at Huntington’s City Hall or send an email to HuntingtonChristmasParade@gmail.com.  Line up on parade day will take place beginning at 9 a.m.

Following the parade, head on over to the Huntington football field to do some Christmas Shopping.  The Huntington Highsteppers will once again present their annual Candy Cane Lane, however, this year's event will take place outdoors at the stadium.  Thankfully, the weather is expected to be perfect with sunshine and highs in the low 60s.  The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. with numerous vendors.  It's a great way, and a safe way, to do your Christmas shopping.  There is no charge for admission into the shopping area. Vendors as well as shoppers are asked to wear masks.
