Late this Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service issued a 'Significant Weather Advisory' for parts of Angelina County...so I thought I would drive into the storm and see exactly what makes up 'significant weather'.

I drove from the Southloop Crossing, where it was only raining lightly, all the way to the Highway 59 North interchange, where it was a moderate rainfall.  Between those two points, it was a heavy downpour.

There's really nothing extra special about this video footage of driving the east side of the loop, but it was interesting to note that when I got to the west side of Lufkin, for the most part, not a drop of rain had fallen.
