Lady Luck has been shining on East Texas over the past 48 hours. The Texas Lottery has confirmed that there have been 3 big cash winners since December 15 in the Redwater Community (near Texarkana), Riverside (by Lake Livingston), and Gilmer.

$25,000 Cash Five Winner

A winning ticket that matched all five numbers on Monday's Cash Five was sold at the Spring Market located on Redwater Boulevard.

That winning ticket is worth $25,000. The Cash Five drawing takes place every night except on Sundays.

Reindeer Riches Scratch-Off Game Winner

Reindeer Riches went into circulation in early November, but 3 of the game's top 5 prizes of $250,000 have already been claimed. The most recent top-prize winning ticket was sold at the Tiger Express convenience store in Gilmer, located off Highway 271 North.

Texas Two Step Winner

Drawings for the Texas Two Step game are held every Monday and Thursday night. Anyone matching all four regular numbers and the bonus ball number wins the current jackpot amount.

One ticket matching all five numbers was sold at the Circle K convenience store on Highway 19 in Riverside. The jackpot payout was $225,000.

Powerball Jackpot Update

The last time somebody won the Powerball jackpot was in early September. Two winning tickets sold in Missouri and Texas split the $1.8 billion jackpot. The Powerball grand prize is now up to $1.25 billion. The next drawing for that payout will take place on Wednesday, December 17.
