Famous Lufkinite Tired Of Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’
Keke Coutee - Houston Texans rookie, former Lufkin Panther, and local hero to many here in Lufkin is tiring of the tune that bears his name. His feelings were plenty apparent about it in Thursdays (Aug 23rd) story in the Chron.
Texans rookie wide receiver Keke Coutee has heard quite enough of the Drake hit, 'In my feelings.'
The fourth-round draft pick from Texas Tech hears it everywhere. He's even been serenaded by teammates in the locker room, with one of the song's lyrics including the phrase "Kiki, do you love me?"
"Yes, I'm really tired of the Drake song," Coutee said. "Everywhere they go, 'Keke, do you love me?' I just don't like that song right now. It's my least favorite."
Coutee said he would consider possibly doing the Kiki dance if he scores a touchdown.
"I don't know yet," he said. "I might pull it out."
I can only imagine how he feels in the stadium locker room, as another man showers, singing at the top of his lungs, the following lyrics.
"Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding?
Say you'll never ever leave from beside me
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always…
I hope he does score a touchdown in his first season with the team, and I will be watching and waiting to see that famous dance.
