Friday Night Football Frenzy Drill Team Members of the Week

Friday night football is here, and, as everyone knows, that's a huge deal in Texas.  A lot of hard,  hard work goes into what you see at the stadiums every Friday night, and that includes the members of the drill team.

This year, KICKS 105 and RNR Tire Express in Lufkin are presenting the Friday Night Football Frenzy.  Every Friday night from 9:30-11:30, J.P. and Havard will keep you up to date with area scores including hotline call ins from field reporters and coaches.  During the show each week, we'll also be recognizing the outstanding drill team members of the week.  We've reached out to many drill team sponsors/instructors in the area to be a part of this.  If we haven't contacted you and you'd like to be a part of this weekly feature please contact Danny Merrell at dannymerrell@townsquaremedia.com.

This week we salute the following:

From the Huntington Highsteppers:

• Captain Nevaeh Davis and Co-Captains Holly Hines and Shalyn Hadnot. They are three of the six officers on our team and they lead our team well! They are all three deserving of this recognition based on their dedication and commitment to our organization day in and day out! All three of these girls love to dance, and most importantly love each other and their teammates!

From the Livingston Emerald Belles: 

• Emerald Belles Spirit Girl of the Week is senior and 4 year member Madison Milner.  She always has a positive attitude and lends a helping hand to her teammates. Plus, she has a great smile!

• Emerald Belles Dancer of the Week is sophomore and first year member Julia Pulley.  She has made the transition from cheerleading to dance beautifully and has worked hard to learn the different technique required for dance.
