The SFA Ladyjack and Lumberjack basketball teams are ready for the annual Cram the Coliseum event when they take on the A&M Corpus Christi Islanders this Saturday, Feb. 13. The women's game begins at 3:30 p.m., and the men's game will start at 6 p.m. in the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

The Lumberjacks are undefeated in Southland Conference play (10-0, 17-5 overall) while the Islanders are in second with a league record of (9-2, 18-5 overall).  A&M Corpus Christi will be trying to get their revenge after losing a close game to SFA a couple of weeks ago.  Meanwhile, SFA boasts a 25 game winning streak when playing at home.  So, this has all the makings of a classic NCAA Division 1 match up.

Meanwhile, the SFA Ladyjacks have been on quite a run as of late.  The ladies have won 4 straight to climb right back into the thick of the conference race (5-5, 11-10 overall).   A&M Corpus Christi (4-7, 7-15 overall) will visit Nacogdoches also trying to avenge an earlier season loss to SFA.  Both the Ladyjacks and Islanders will have games Thursday night as well.

Last year's Cram the Coliseum against Sam Houston State was standing room only.  There is no cost to enter the William R. Johnson Coliseum for the Cram the Coliseum event, but, YOU MUST HAVE A SPECIAL CRAM THE COLISEUM TICKET TO GET IN FREE.  And that is very easy to obtain.  Just click the link below...and be sure to wear purple on Saturday.

Axe 'em, Jacks!!
