The Texas Two-Step game is advertised by the Texas Lottery as "Making the most jackpot winners in Texas each year." In 2024, the game is living up to its billing.

So far this year, 17 players have hit the Texas Two-Step jackpot. Those usually range from the base amount of $200,000 to a little more than $1 million. To win the jackpot, players must match all four standard numbers plus the bonus ball.

The odds of winning the Texas Two-Step jackpot are approximately 1 in 1,832,000. In other words, very slim. However, in comparison to the 1 in 300,000,000 odds of winning the Powerball or Mega Millions jackpots, your odds are much better of winning the Texas Two-Step jackpot.

Big Payout on June 10

The Texas Two-Step drawing for the most recent jackpot was held on Monday. There had been no grand prize winners for the previous six drawings, so the jackpot was up to $1.3 million.

The numbers drawn on Monday were 4-6-29-33, with a bonus ball of 30. One person matched all five numbers for the big payout. That ticket was purchased at an H-E-B location in Corpus Christi.

There was also a $1.3 million Texas Two-Step winner on May 13. That winning ticket was purchased at an H-E-B in Pharr, located in the Rio Grande Valley.

The next Mega Millions drawing will also occur on Thursday. That jackpot now sits at $47 million. The Powerball jackpot is $34 million. The next drawing for that will take place on Friday, June 14.
