Highway 147 at Angelina River Shut Down to Single Lane Traffic

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is advising motorists to be aware of road work going on in San Augustine County on Highway 147 at the Angelina River Bridge.

Beginning Monday, August 17, and continuing for up to two months, the highway will be narrowed to one late of traffic as crews continue road work in the area. A temporary signal will be operational throughout this time.

Motorists are advised to stay alert and prepare for possible delays.
