On December 9th, My Plates will be naming the 2013 Coach of the Year.  7 finalists have been picked and Coach Jimmy Eby at Hudson High School is one of them.  He is the Athletic Director at Hudson and he has also led the Hudson Lady Hornets to back to back state championships in softball.

So...you're not going to find anyone more deserving of the honor of Coach of the Year, plus he's just an all-around nice guy.

Now, this is where your help is needed.

The Coach of the Year will be the person who gets the most online votes at the My Plates website.  Whether you're loyal to Hudson or not should not make a difference as Coach Eby is the East Texas representative in the finals for this honor.  If Eby is the top vote getter, he would receive $25,000 which will be donated to the softball program, athletic programs and campus physical education programs.

We're getting close to the end of the ballgame and we're still a few runs behind when it comes to voting (notice use of a softball metaphor), but we can do this!

You are allowed to vote once a day, so please help bring this honor to one of our very own and give some needed funds that will benefit kids in the process.  Just click here to vote.
