Will Whataburger’s New Upscale Burger Become Your All-Time Favorite?

It was no April Fool's joke, Whataburger locations in Dallas, Texas, and across Texas, including those in Tyler and Longview are going upscale thanks to the introduction of their latest burger offering.

If this burger sticks around longer than the chili-cheese burger did it has the potential to become one of my all-time favorites and I'd lobby for it to be on their 'All Time Favorites' menu just like the honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich or the patty melt or, my favorite, the sweet and spicy bacon burger.

Available now through June 30th the new Bacon Steakhouse Double is prepared fresh to order and includes:

• two 100% beef patties
• two slices of melted aged cheddar
• smoky bacon
• crispy fried onions
• tangy steak sauce
• toasted bun

If a double is too much of a good thing it also comes in a junior size too!

No reservations are required at Whataburger to get your Texas-sized hands on this burger masterpiece. Whataburger Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Hudler says,

The Bacon Steakhouse Double is more than a new menu item. It’s an experience. Our one-of-a-kind burger is inspired by the flavors of an upscale steakhouse. It's made from premium ingredients and crafted with legendary Whataburger quality. It’s available for a limited time, so treat yourself while you can."

Fans of Whataburger's WhataWings can rejoice

When Whataburger released the details about the new burger, they also revealed that WhataWings would stick around on their menu through at least the end of the year.
