East Texas Scores Big Winners on Texas Lottery Scratch Off Games

Over the past week, the biggest news in East Texas has been about Beryl.  The tropical storm turned hurricane has been giving forecasters fits about where it might be headed.

East Texas ended up drawing the short straw and bore the brunt of the storm with massive power outages that continue across much of the region. There was some good news for East Texas over the past week.

Henderson, Texas

On Friday, July 5, a winning scratch-off ticket purchased at this James Exxon Mart on Highway 64 West in Henderson paid out a top prize of $250,000.

The 200X scratch-off game is a $5 ticket. There are still four more top prizes of $250K remaining.

Marshall, Texas

On Monday, July 8, a scratch-off game purchased in Marshall produced the state's newest millionaire. The $1 million winning ticket was purchased at this newly-opened Cefco located at 3100 East End Boulevard North.

The $1 Million Crossword Scratch-Off Game is a $20 ticket and features a total of four $1 million prizes. After the Marshall winner, all top prizes of this game have been claimed. The Texas Lottery plans to discontinue this game soon.
