Man Dumps Estranged Wife’s Corvette into River

A 50-year-old Pennsylvania man took a domestic dispute with his soon-to-be ex-wife to new depths...as in 30 feet below the surface of a river. 

According to a news report from CBS in Philadelphia, witnesses saw a man drive a 1990 red corvette to the edge of the Delaware River, he then rigged the car to drive itself into the river.  Local police sent a dive crew into the murky river to find the car and to make sure that no one was in it.  Once it was determined to be empty the car was pulled out of the river.

Apparently, the husband and wife are going through a difficult divorce case and the man decided to react by dumping his wife's car into the river.  The divorce is not final so the car remains in joint custody which means the man will not be charged with theft, but other charges are pending.
