Here Are the Mutton Busters for the 2024 Angelina Benefit Rodeo

The Angelina Benefit Rodeo gets kicked off Wednesday at the George H. Henderson Jr., Expo Center in Lufkin. You'll be entertained by some of the best cowboys and cowgirls in the nation.

Kade Rogge will be our rodeo announcer while award-winning barrel man/rodeo clown John Harrison will keep you laughing.

Yes, you'll see bull riding, barrel racing, steer dogging and more, but the mutton-busting competition is one of the fan favorites. Each night, 12 youngsters between the ages of 5-9 will try their best to stay on the back of sheep racing down the arena floor.
