Panhandling On City Streets Outlawed In Lufkin – Do You Agree? [POLL]

Last night, the Lufkin City Council unanimously passed an ordinance outlawing panhandlers from soliciting for funds on city streets.

A timeline for placing the ordinance into effect has not yet been announced. 

The main reasons given for the ban involves the safety of the panhandlers as well as overall flow of traffic issues.
