According to the Texas Department of Transporation, this past November 7 marked 21 years since the last deathless day on Texas roads. TxDOT has continued to push a campaign entitled #EndTheStreak, in which they encourage all motorists to stay alert, patience and undistracted while on the road in order to break that streak.
