Reba McEntire has invited an up-and-coming female artist to hit the road with her. Caylee Hammack will be opening for the country legend on her headlining tour in 2020.

The 12-date trek sees them performing in arenas across the country from March through May throughout the south, midwest and branching into the northeast with a date at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Penn. McEntire announced the news that Hammack will be joining her for the duration of the tour on Monday (Nov. 18).

Caylee Hammack's Acoustic 'Family Tree' Is Rooted in Country Truth

“I have always loved to entertain and to be entertained so I couldn’t be more thrilled to head back out on the road and sing for the fans every night. We have so many talented females creating new music and having Caylee join us will be a lot of fun!” McEntire says in a press release.

, Hammack excitedly shared the news to her followers via video on social media.

"I am getting to go on the road with the woman that is just one of those one-of-a-kind storytellers that is the whole reason why I do country music," she raves, referring to the icon as "feisty" and the "lady in the red dress." I get to open up for my idol this year."

Hammack is the latest Taste of Country RISERS act — a rising star in a program that spotlights promising artists expected to break through in the format. The "Family Tree" singer recently released the music video for "Preciatcha" and wrapped opening stints on Miranda Lambert's Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour and Trisha Yearwood's Every Girl on Tour.

McEntire's 2020 tour kicks off March 20 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind., and continues through May 9 where it concludes at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. Tickets go on sale Friday (Nov. 22).
