Registration Under Way for Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo Mutton Bustin’

The 39th Annual Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 21st-23rd at the Nacogdoches Expo and Civic Center.  Who's ready for some mutton bustin'?!

Beginning at 7 each night, 15 youngsters will try their best to stay on the back of a sheep for the chance to be the champion mutton buster.

First things first.  Kid's names must be registered at Boot Barn in Nacogdoches, 3801 North Street in order to have the chance to be drawn as a rider.  Here are some of the particulars:

• Child must be between 3-7 years of age
• Child must weigh 60 pounds or less
• Helmet and vest for each rider will be provided
• Deadline for registration is Friday, March 15th.
• Riders will be announced Monday, March 18th on the Merrell in the Morning Show.
