Here Are The Mutton Busters for the 2025 Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo is this Thursday through Saturday at the Expo Center. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the rodeo action gets underway at 7:30 p.m.

Be sure and get there early to see the mutton-busting competition, brought to you by KICKS 105, Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative, and Boot Barn. Each night at 7 p.m., fifteen young cowboys and cowgirls between the ages of 3-7 will be riding sheep for the chance to win the nightly championship buckle.

Registrations were taken through March 13 at Boot Barn in Nacogdoches. The drawings were held on March 17. The list of those drawn is below.

A text with details will be sent to the parent/guardian of each rider. Riders are required to be at the Expo Center in Nacogdoches for check-in on their designated night between 6 and 6:40 pm. Any rider showing up after 6:45 will forfeit their spot. Riders are required to ride on their assigned night, no switching nights.
