Thank you, Blue Angels.

Thank you for bringing your show of 'America Strong' to Texas and Louisiana on Wednesday.  The aerial displays exhibited by the Blue Angels are the perfection of precision and power.  It seems only right that they honored the medical community since it has been their precision, power, strength, caring, love, and unselfishness that have touched and saved the lives of so many during this pandemic.

I wish I could have made it to Dallas or Houston to see the flyover.  At the very least I was hoping that they might be visible in the sky as they made their way from Big D to H-town, but their flight track took them closer to I-45.

Chances are you couldn't be there either, but thanks to the Department of Defense's video hub we are able to take a look at the view from the cockpit of one of jets as it flew in formation over Houston. You can definitely see the hospital district and the Rice University area.  A quick look at the bottom left in the later part of the video will give you a view of the Astrodome and NRG Stadium.

Thanks to Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Gordon for taking the video, and thanks Blue Angels for lifting the spirits of so many across the Lone Star State.
