SFA Lumberjacks Release 2013-14 Basketball Schedule
The 2013-14 basketball schedule has been released by the SFA Lumberjacks. The defending Southland Conference champs will enter their first year under the tutelage of head coach Brad Underwood.
The season will open up with an exhibition match November 2nd against Arkansas Tech, then the 'Jacks will open up regular season play at home against UT-Tyler. Other highlights of non-conference play include a trip to Austin to battle the Longhorns of UT, hosting the E-Tech Classic, and going on the road to participate in the Roundball Classic on the East Coast. The Lumberjacks will also be on the road to take on Texas State, which is now coached by former SFA head coach Danny Kaspar.
There are several new teams in the Southland Conference line up including Houston Baptist, Abilene Christian, and New Orleans and Incarnate Word.
