Super Softball Showdown – Central Vs Hudson, Who Will Win?

It's one of the biggest rivalries in East Texas...the Hornets and the Bulldogs.

And Friday night, it's on.  We're moving to the 3rd round of the Class 3A softball playoffs, and district foes Hudson and Central will have a winner-take-all one game series Friday night in Hudson.

The Lady Hornets were the district champions and received a first round bye before destroying China Spring in two games in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Watching the Lady Dawgs in the playoffs demands a strong heart.  Central defeated Bullard in extra innings 2-1 in the first round, and then against Groesbeck, the Lady Dawgs won 2 of 3 games with all the games decided by one run.

Game time is 7pm, weather permitting, in Hudson.
