After 15 years of playing in numerous games, including several world cup games, Clint Dempsey is retiring.

It appears that Clint Dempsey's spot on Team USA is no more.  The 32-year-old Nacogdoches native was dropped from the squad for their upcoming World Cup Qualifier games.

Following his stellar play on the Team USA Soccer Team, Nacogdoches native Clint Dempsey has settled back in to his 'regular' job as a professional soccer player for the Seattle Sounders.
