Have you ever been to the grocery store, over by the steaks and caught an attractive someone staring at you from the squeaky dog toys?  You never spoke, but you knew something passed between you both.  Was it love?  Was it something else?  You might never know, and the only way to possibly get in touch with them was through, "Missed Connections" on Craigslist.

A few months ago Sean Ericson and myself were discussing our all-time favorite past Kicks 105 promotions. Included in that list very prominently was the KICKS Party Boat, so we decided to bring it back! Get ready for the #KicksPartyBoat!

We have tried to describe to you just how BIG a deal the St. Jude Radiothon is.  We've decided that instead of describing it we should just show you with a little video!  Two grown men don't do something like this for no particular reason!  Check it out!

Danny, Sean, and myself all work 13 solid hours each day of the St. Jude Radiothon.  Not because we have to, but because we want to.  We believe in the work that St. Jude does, and want to pass it along to you so that you can be part of this wonderful journey as well.  Saving kids lives!  However it takes LOTS of snacks!

The Tutor Doctor phone banks are busy, busy with our St. Jude Radiothon on KICKS 105.  In our first video update Sean Ericson visits the ladies who are taking your phone calls to become Partners In Hope!  Watch the video to see what happens behind the scenes during the Radiothon and how to help kids beat cancer.

William Clark Green knew at age 13 that he would pursue a career writing and singing songs.  He attended college at Texas Tech, and played in front of a crowd as often as he could.  I discovered WCG a few years ago, like I usually do, with someone sharing the video for the song, "Caroline" from his first album Misunderstood.  I was blown away by this young man from Flint Texas.

East Texas is about to have another round of wintery weather that includes ice and snow. We will be keeping a close eye on the system as it makes it's way through our listening area, and pass along any and all delays and closures of schools, businesses, or other organizations.  This list will continually be updated as information is relayed to us.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will be televised this Sunday night at 7pm CT on CBS!  We here at KICKS 105 always get excited about this show, because it gives us the opportunity to vote on our faves and see who knows their stuff!  This year we want you to share your picks with us as well.  Click "Read More" to see the nominees and to make your picks!
