Wednesday morning, Danny Merrell and Sean Ericson had the chance to interview some of the kids from the Angelina County Fair.

A couple of playful Humboldt penguins took over the KICKS 105 Studios.

It's Halloween, and the KICKS 105 airstaff, employees, and family members have dressed up for the occasion.  Unfortunately some of these images just cannot be unseen.

Looks like a new feature has been born on the Merrell in the Morning Show. Today, we take a look at what some kids have to say when posed with questions about marriage and relationships.

Outstanding high school students from across Angelina County stopped by to pay a visit to the Merrell in the Morning Show today.  The group is Leadership Tomorrow which is comprised of high school juniors who are leaders in their schools and communities, and have made a commitment to learn more about the businesses, people, and lifestyles of our East Texas area.

We had a special guest on the Merrell in the Morning show today...the beautiful, talented, and fresh-scented Kendall Jackson. She is a 6th grader at Lufkin Middle School and she brought us donuts (although she did lick off all the sprinkles)!!! It was a pleasure again this morning to have some more of the outstanding youth who are participating in the 62nd annual Angelina County Youth Fair. Today, we had yesterday's winners in several shows such as market hog, market goat, beef heifer, and steer. There's more events going on today, but make sure you're on hand for the awards ceremony at 5 which will be followed by the auction.   Read Mor
