Before the AAA Texas 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on Sunday, Nov. 4, at Texas Motor Speedway fans will have be treated to a live concert from Texas' own Josh Abbott Band.

It's NASCAR racing weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.  The Truck Series, Nationwide Series, and Sprint Cup Series will be featured this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And, the Merrell in the Morning Show has one more shot to win tickets to all the races as well as VIP Pit Passes!

The AAA Texas 500 headlines a huge weekend of NASCAR racing at Texas Motor Speedway.  It all starts with the Camping World Truck Series on Halloween night, then it's the Nationwide Series on Saturday, followed on Sunday by the 8th race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Indy Racing under the lights is coming to the Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 7th.  The Firestone 600 is coming as Helio Castroneves will try to repeat as champion.

I went to my first Nascar race this weekend (November 3 ,2013) at Texas Motor Speedway. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I ate, I saw, I went partially deaf, and I had the best time.
