UPDATE – Texas A&M Campus Reopened After Morning Bomb Threat
UPDATE (4:35 p.m.) - The Texas A&M Campus has now been re-opened following this morning's evacuation after a bomb threat was made around 11:30 a.m. A few building that have yet to be cleared are still closed, but operations are getting back to normal.
According to sources, authorities with Texas A&M's emergency management sent out a campus wide Tweet authenticated with the code word 'Maroon' ordering the evacuation of all campus facilities.
The reason for the evacuation is due to a phoned in bomb threat. All students and faculty have been ordered to leave the campus by foot.
