When it comes to places to see the leaves turn to brilliant hues of red, yellow, and orange, Texas is not usually in the conversation for the best places for viewing this Fall occurrence. Usually, the Rocky Mountain states and those in New England get most of the hype.

Mixbook, a #1 rated photo book brand, carried out a recent survey of 3,000 respondents, asking them which under-the-radar destinations they would most like to visit to see fall foliage this year. The votes were tabulated for these 150 hidden gems, and as you might expect, Texas was not well-represented.
