Texas Forest Festival Gets Underway Tonight

The 30th annual Texas State Forest Festival gets underway tonight at the George H Henderson Expo Center in Lufkin.  There will be many events and activities going on but the highlight will be the KICKS 105 Pom Squad/Dance Team Championships. 

At 6:30 p.m., teams from Hudson, Lufkin, Diboll, Huntington, Pineywoods Community Academy, Shelbyville, and West Sabine will compete for top honors in such categories as pom, jazz, and hip hop.  Everyone will also be treated to a special performance by Academy of Gymnastics and Dance.
