Shark ‘Encounter’ in Tyler, Texas Leads to a Profitable and Exciting Experience
Earlier this month, details were released about a shark encounter in Port O'Connor, Texas. That's not an unusual occurrence, considering Port O'Connor is a coastal town.
Now, news is breaking about another brush with a shark. This one happened on Monday in Tyler.
Texas Lottery's 'Jaws' Scratch-Off Game
The shark I'm talking about is the one featured on the new Texas Lottery 'Jaws' scratch-off game. This new offering celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of the horror blockbuster 'Jaws'.
Yup, it was way back in 1975 when this iconic quote became legendary:
Two Jackpot Winners Already
The 'Jaws' game was released into circulation on June 2, and half of the four top prizes have already been won.
On June 5, a winning $100,000 ticket was sold at the Speedy Stop store in O'Connor. Then, on Monday, June 16, another ticket worth $100K was claimed. This one was purchased at Pema's Quick Stop on Highway 64 E near Tyler.
That means that only 2 jackpot tickets worth $100,000 each remain unclaimed in this game from the Texas Lottery. Currently, the odds of winning one of those are significantly worse than when the game was first introduced.

Powerball and Mega Millions Jackpots
These two jackpots continue to rise.
Nobody matched all six winning Powerball numbers on Wednesday's drawing, which means that the jackpot will now jump to $118 million.
Meanwhile, after no one matched the six winning numbers for the last Mega Millions drawing, the jackpot for the next drawing on Friday will be worth $302 million..
As always, play responsibly.
