One Texas Lottery scratch-off game paid off twice on St. Patrick's Day. 500X is a $50 game ticket that features 15 top prizes of $1 million.

5 of those jackpots had been claimed before Monday, but that number jumped to 7 thanks to some doubly good luck on St. Patrick's Day.

Two million dollar payouts took place on Monday. A winning ticket was sold at this HEB on Highway 290 in Elgin, about 30 miles east of Austin.

The 500X scratch-off paid out another million dollars on March 17. This second winning ticket was sold at the Sonik Food Mart on Avenue Q in Lubbock.

There was another big winner that cashed in on St. Patrick's Day. Someone in Houston won $100,000 playing the Super Crossword game at the 1 Stop on Gears Road. There are still 10 unclaimed top prizes in this scratch-off.

Powerball and Mega Million Jackpots

The Mega Millions jackpot is now up to $301 million, with an estimated cash out of $139.5 million. The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, March 18. The last Mega Millions top prize payout happened on January 17. The jackpot was $112 million.

The Powerball jackpot has now topped the $400 million mark ($416 million). The estimated cash payout would be $194.1 million. The next drawing will happen on Wednesday, March 19. The last Powerball top prize payout happened on January 18. The jackpot was $328.5 million. The winner from Oregon opted for the cash out payment of $146.4 million.
