The winning numbers for Friday's Mega Millions drawing were 6-23-41-59-63 with a Mega Ball of 25. Nobody matched all six numbers for the $740 million jackpot.

That means the jackpot will rise to $800 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, September 10. The estimated cash payout is $401 million.

The Latest $1 Million Winners

Even though no one claimed the big prize, six tickets matched all five of the non-Mega Ball numbers. Each of those tickets is worth a $1 million payout. Those tickets were sold in Illinois, New Hampshire, Florida, California, Ohio, and Texas. The person who purchased the winning ticket in Ohio was the only winner who opted for the Mega Ply option which doubled their payout to $2 million.

The winning Texas ticket was sold at the Stripes convenience store, located at 1912 North Dallas Avenue in Lamesa. It was a quick-pick ticket, and the Mega Ply $1 dollar option was not taken.

Lamesa is located between Odessa and Lubbock, near the New Mexico border.

How About the Powerball Game?

The next Powerball drawing is coming up on Saturday, September 7. That jackpot is now up to $112 million, with an estimated cash payout of around $55 million.

The Texas Lotto Extra drawing is also happening on Saturday. That jackpot is now up to $17.25 for anyone matching all six numbers of that game.
