The Upside of Valentine’s Day Being Over
As you know, last Tuesday was Valentine's Day. It was awesome to go to the stores that day and see all of the people that waited until the last minute to get their presents bought. Now that it's over, we can focus on the pros of it being done for the year.
First of all, let's look at the candy. HALF PRICE CANDY! That should be enough to warm your heart. Knowing that you can go grab those ridiculously overpriced, heart-shaped, globs of chocolate for half off. Let's be honest, it's PURE SUGAR. And now, it's cheap!
Second, you can get flowers, with super discounts! I was going through the store the other day, and saw "Valentine's Flowers" for 75% off the original price. Who cares if it's not Valentine's Day anymore??? Flowers are flowers! They still serve the same purpose: to be decorative and pretty WHEREVER you put them.
Lastly, if you were one of the ones that waited until the last minute to buy a gift, the upside of Valentine's Day being over is that you have a whole year to plan out what you're going to get for that special someone on Valentine's Day 2018...or, a whole year to procrastinate until the last minute...AGAIN. But don't say that I didn't warn you, 362 days in advance.
Best of luck to you, a year ahead of time.
