Gwen Stefani is filling departed coach Adam Levine's seat on The Voice's 17th season, and both she and her fellow coaches are excited about it. Perhaps no one's happier, though, than the singer's boyfriend, country star and fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton.

“I always love having Gwen on the show," Shelton says in a new promo video for the TV singing competition's upcoming season. "She literally makes my day 100 percent better."

Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, The Voice's other Season 17 coaches, are ready to welcome Stefani back to the show, too: Clarkson dubs herself a "super fan" of the No Doubt frontwoman, while Legend calls her "a legend."

Stefani, who has also released solo albums in addition to her work with the '90s ska/rock/punk band, previously coached on The Voice during the show's seventh, ninth and 12th seasons; she was also a guest advisor in Seasons 8 and 10.

“I’m so happy to be back. My life changed so much on this show," says Stefani, who met Shelton through The Voice. "I'm so inspired. I haven't been here for a while, so I'm ready to go."

"And then to be with my best friend Blakey, and to be here with Kelly and John," she adds, "I feel pretty lucky right now.”

The Voice's 17th season will premiere on Sept. 23 at 8PM ET. The show airs on NBC.
