Hey, Caffeine Addicts: Trisha Yearwood’s Got a New Coffee Line!
In addition to her musical success, Trisha Yearwood's found her niche in the culinary space: Not only does she remain the host of the wildly successful cooking show Trisha’s Southern Kitchen on Food Network, but she has also long worked alongside culinary retailer Williams-Sonoma on a variety of products. That relationship recently expanded to include her own line of coffee.
“Coffee is my spirit animal,” Yearwood says with a laugh during a recent interview with Taste of Country Nights. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, and we have had a great collaboration with Williams-Sonoma, so coffees seemed to be the next step.”
Indeed, Yearwood’s signature cocktail mixes, such as “Summer in a Cup,” “Autumn in a Cup” and “Christmas in a Cup," have long been favorites of Williams-Sonoma shoppers. Her coffee line includes a signature blend, a Georgia pecan flavor, a French vanilla coffee and a French vanilla syrup.
“Now I get to have my own coffee every morning,” says Yearwood, who recently celebrated her 20th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member. “It’s very surreal to see your name in a store after being such a fan of them for such a long time.”
Truly, Yearwood admits, her love affair with Williams-Sonoma began a long time ago: “I’ve always loved going into Williams-Sonoma, long before I could even afford to buy anything in there,” reflects Yearwood, who recently released her latest album, Let’s Be Frank. “The vibe in the store, it’s just cool. It’s a great experience.”
So does she get her signature coffee delivered to her home, or can she pick it up for free at the store? Well ...
“I do go to the mall because I love to go into the store,” Yearwood admits. “I think I have to buy it. I think they would probably stop me.”
