Watch Out Austin, Here Come the Hudson Lady Hornets!

They're fearless, they have fight, and most importantly...they have faith in their God-given abilities and they are quick to give Him all the credit.

The Hudson Lady Hornets are heading to state with a chance to capture the 3A championship!

After a nail-biting Thursday night game that saw Hudson wait 'til the 7th to score the game winning run, tonight, the Lady Hornets left no doubt who the dominant team was.  Hudson scored 5 in the first and never looked back on their way to a 10-0 win, shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule.

Kelsee Selman and Jade Havard went deep for the Lady Hornets, but this was a hitting demonstration put on by the entire team.

Hudson will now play a 3A semifinal game at either at 9am or noon next Thursday in McCombs Field in Austin.  With a win, they will then play for the championship at 10am Saturday morning.
