What a blast! Over a thousand kids, parents, and sponsors came out for the first ever Great Kid Escape Saturday at the Lufkin Convention Center.  The event was highlighted by our special guest celebrity, Peyton List.

As my 3 children haven gotten older, fewer are the times that they call me a 'cool' dad.  However, when they learned that I had the chance to speak to Peyton List recently, I became a 'superstar' dad...at least for a little while.

This Saturday, the first ever Great Kid Escape will be held at the beautifully remodeled Lufkin Convention Center on South First Street.  Headlining the event will be an appearance by Disney TV star Peyton List who plays the part of Emma on the show, 'Jessie'.
