Each February 14 her husband John would give her a bouquet of flowers with a note that read "My love for you grows."

Sadly, John passed away two years ago in April. 10 months later, Johnston received Valentine's Day flowers from somebody named John. At first she thought it was a cruel joke.

I think this is one of the holidays where people tell themselves it's OK to indulge in sweet treats...at least, that's how I look at it.

It's never easy trying to find the perfect box of chocolates; in the famous words of Forest Gump "You never know what you're gonna get."  That's why a team of NPR employees spent two weeks blind taste-testing more than 30 brands of chocolate from all over the world to try and find the best tasting chocolate. (What a  tough job...)
